Every sale, every shilling, every shelf — under control.
A point-of-sale and inventory system built for Kenyan shops, dukas and supermarkets — with M-Pesa reconciliation that actually balances at the end of the day.
The problem
The till says one thing, M-Pesa says another.
Most shops close the day not really knowing what happened. Cash, M-Pesa and stock are tracked in three different places — a drawer, a phone and a notebook — and they never quite agree. Halisi puts them in one system that balances itself.
- Cash and M-Pesa totals that never match the sales at close
- Stock that walks out of the shop unrecorded
- No real idea which products actually make money
- Prices, expiry dates and reorder levels kept in someone’s head
- Separate tills and branches that can’t be seen together
What it does
Everything the job actually needs.
Scan or tap to sell in seconds, with or without a barcode scanner. Built for busy counters and slow phones alike.
Till and paybill payments are matched to sales automatically, so the day closes with cash, M-Pesa and stock all agreeing.
Every sale adjusts stock instantly, and you’re warned before a fast-mover runs out — no more selling what you don’t have.
Run several counters and several shops from one view, each with its own staff, stock and takings.
Record what you buy, from whom and at what cost, so margins are real numbers, not guesses.
Best-sellers, dead stock, daily takings and true profit per item — the numbers a shopkeeper actually acts on.
How it works
Simple to run, from day one.
Scan a barcode or tap the item. Cash, M-Pesa or card — the payment is captured with the sale.
The moment a sale is made, stock levels drop and low-stock alerts fire on their own.
Till and paybill payments are reconciled to the sales that created them, with no manual ticking off.
End the day with one report where cash, M-Pesa and stock all agree — ready for the next morning.

Questions
Straight answers.
Does it work when the internet is down?
Yes. The POS keeps selling offline and syncs the moment the connection returns, so a network dip never stops the counter.
Can it connect to my M-Pesa till or paybill?
Yes — we integrate with Safaricom Daraja so till and paybill payments flow straight into the system and reconcile against sales.
Can I keep my current scanner and receipt printer?
In most cases yes. We check your hardware during discovery and support standard barcode scanners and thermal printers.
What about several branches?
Each branch runs its own tills and stock, and head office sees them all in one place, live.
